StoryBoards NorthWest is a Washington State 501(C)(3) whose mission is to “Preserve and Promote Oral Histories through the Arts.

For over a decade we have been collecting oral histories from Chinese nationals and Chinese Americans and presenting them in a series entitled East Meets West through Art and Poetry. The projects have been and continue to be presented in art exhibitions, lectures, and videos in local galleries, museums, and online.

Our pilot podcast Lost Underground is being releast in the fall of 2023. Through a seris of 8 podcasts we will bring nearly forgotten stories to light about the Chinese and Chinese American experience.

Look for more offerings in 2024. An educational program will feature oral histories recorded by K-12 children and young adults.
