The Stroum Jewish Community Center welcomed artist Cheryll Leo-Gwin for an evening of art based on the oral histories of the Misty Poets of China, and the WWII Jewish refugees who fled to China from Europe to escape the Nazis. They lived in an enclave with Chinese refugees supporting one another during the occupation of the Japanese.
